In
this day and age, more customers are turning to the internet for their
referencing needs: whether to find the nearest gas station or a place to
grab a quick snack. Because of this public demand, all developed cities
in the world have multiple online “city guides” which all serve to cater
the consumer’s urge to find specific places. Unfortunately, our city of
Sour, which is ironically the first developed city in the history of
mankind, does not currently have an online city guide.
Have no fear, we at Sour Pages plan to change the sorry non-existence
of our city in the worldwide web.
From the past parliamentary elections, we can see the growing influence
the internet media has on Lebanon, and as the internet grows as a media
outlet, so will its reliability for internet marketing. With the growth
of Lebanon’s computer savvy generation into adulthood comes a synonymous
growth of consumers checking the internet before they buy a product or
use a service. As an average for developed countries, approximately 78%
of consumers use the internet for such purposes on a regular basis. We
expect no less for Lebanon, which has adapted the latest internet fads (e.g
Facebook, Twitter) quicker than most Western countries, thus, the reason
we created www.sourpages.com .
